Alaska Cruise - Part 2

On our 7 night cruise with Royal Caribbean's Brilliance of the Seas, we enjoyed 4 different ports and two full days at sea.

What to do while at sea???

If you have cruised in the Caribbean before, then you know most of your time at sea is spent lounging by the pool and laying on the pool deck. Alaska cruises are a bit different. Depending on when you travel, you may be able to enjoy the pool, especially the indoor pool. We spent most of our days at sea playing games, enjoying trivia and karaoke or sitting on the balcony watching the scenery. Our ship had plenty of activities - everything from an egg drop contest or dance lessons or movies in the theatre. If the weather cooperates you can rock climb, play putt putt or a game of basketball. One reason I love cruising is there is something for everyone!

Some games we chose to take (they were easy to pack) If you forget a game, most ships have a game room that allows you to borrow games.

What to do after Dinner?

Depending on your dinner time, you will be able to see the evening headliner show either before or after your meal. Always check the Cruise Compass Schedule or your Royal Caribbean app for times. If you don't want to catch the headliner show, there are plenty of musicians throughout the ship at the various pubs. Find one you like, sit back and enjoy!
